The Barn Westmeston

The Barn is in Westmeston, which is just north of Ditchling. It's a detached barn conversion. You're right on the edge of the South Downs.

It sleeps two in the main bedroom, but there are two double sofa beds in the living area as well. So you could have more people, but it's really best for a couple. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's modern inside, but it’s still a barn so the ceilings are high and the space feels open.

You get the whole place to yourselves, with a patio area outside. There's parking right there. It's got WiFi, a TV, and a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring two dogs.

The village is quiet. There's a good pub in Ditchling, about a mile and a half away. For a big shop, you'd want to drive to Lewes or Haywards Heath.

You're in the South Downs National Park, so walking and cycling routes are right from the door. Brighton is about a 25 minute drive for the seafront and the lanes. Lewes is about 20 minutes, with the castle and independent shops. The coast at Newhaven or Peacehaven is within half an hour.
