Oak Tree Cottage

Oak Tree Cottage is in Quidenham, Norfolk. It's a detached, timber-framed cottage. It's old, Grade II listed, so the layout is what it is, but it's been done up to a high standard. It has a 5 Star rating.

It sleeps six people. There are three bedrooms upstairs and a bathroom up there. Downstairs there's another bedroom and a separate shower room with level access, so it works if you can't do stairs.

You get a lawned garden that goes around the side, fenced in, with a patio and seating. There's a decent-sized private driveway for parking.

The facilities are all here. Washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot, highchair, and stairgate. One well-behaved dog is welcome.

The village has a green and some events through the year, which you can see from the garden. The nearest shop and pubs are about two miles away. A supermarket is six miles.

For things to do, Banham Zoo is about a six minute drive. Snetterton race circuit is three miles away. Thetford Forest is good for walking and cycling, that's about half an hour.

Norwich is about 40 minutes drive for shopping and the cathedral. For the Broads, Wroxham is the place to go for boat hire. The North Norfolk coast, with places like Cromer and Sheringham, is about an hour away. Southwold on the Suffolk coast is a bit further, maybe an hour and a quarter.
