The Farmhouse
The Farmhouse is in All Stretton, just outside Church Stretton. It's a detached house. Sleeps eight, has four bedrooms and three bathrooms. It's got a 5 Star rating. You can bring one dog.
It's been done up. The kitchen is big and open plan, with a range cooker. There's an orangery off it, which is a bright space to sit. The living room has a woodburning stove. The garden is enclosed, with a patio area and a barbecue. It has a hot tub.
The stairs are fine. The bedrooms are spread over two floors. Two of the bathrooms are upstairs, and there's a downstairs loo. All bedding and towels are included. There's a washing machine, dishwasher, cot and highchair. Parking is on site.
You're right on the edge of the Long Mynd. The Carding Mill Valley car park for walks is about a ten minute drive. The local pub is a few minutes walk away. Church Stretton is a small market town, about five minutes by car. It's got a Co-op for shopping, cafes and a couple of places to eat.
For a bigger town, Shrewsbury is about twenty five minutes north. It's good for shopping and has a theatre. Further afield, within about half an hour, you've got places like the Stiperstones for walking, or you can go to Ludlow. For history, Ironbridge is around forty five minutes drive.
There are five other cottages next door, owned by the same person. If you had a big group, you could book them all together.
