Kibble is a barn conversion on a farm just outside All Stretton. It's one of six here, so it's good if you're coming as part of a bigger group but you still get your own place. You have your own garden with the cottage.
It sleeps six, in three bedrooms. There's a bathroom upstairs and an ensuite off the main bedroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and well looked after.
The kitchen has a stone floor and a big breakfast bar with a good view over the fields. The living room has a wood burner. There are beams, which are nice, but mind your head in a couple of places.
All Stretton itself is small. Church Stretton, about two miles down the road, is your proper market town. It's got a Co-op, a few pubs, cafes, and a good Thai restaurant. The hills start right there. You can walk straight up onto the Long Mynd from Carding Mill Valley. It's beautiful walking country.
Shrewsbury is about a twenty minute drive. They've got the prison tours if that's your thing, the Theatre Severn, and an independent cinema. Further out, you can get to the Ironbridge Gorge museums or into Wales in under an hour.
For the facilities: it has a wood burner, dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair. There's parking right outside. And yes, it has a hot tub.
You can bring up to two dogs. If you're coming with more people, the other barns here can be booked together.
