Orchard Loft is an apartment above our stables at Goose Pasture Farm. It's just outside Belton in Rutland.
It's a 4 Star place, sleeps two. One bedroom with a king size bed and one bathroom with a shower. It's detached from the main house, so it's private. You have your own decking area that looks out over the orchard.
It's on a working livery yard, so you'll see and hear horses. If you ride, you can bring your own horse. We have stables and an arena you can hire.
You can bring two dogs. There are miles of footpaths and bridleways right from the gate, good for walks.
Belton village is about a 15 minute walk away. There's a pub there. For shops and cafes, Oakham and Uppingham are a short drive. They're proper market towns.
Rutland Water is about 20 minutes by car. It's good for cycling, sailing, and birdwatching. The Rutland Water website has all the details.
If you like stately homes, Burghley House is under half an hour away.
Facilities: there's a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV, and parking. Bedding and towels are included. There's a BBQ you can use. One thing to note: you get to the apartment by an external staircase.
