This is Mange-Tout Maison. It's one of four holiday cottages here on the farm, along with Parsnip Place, Fennel Folly, and Carrot Cottage. The whole place is about seven acres. You're in Manton, which is right next to Rutland Water.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. The space is open plan downstairs. You have your own little patio area with furniture. Parking is right outside.
We're on a farm track, so it's quiet. You look out over fields. It's a couple of minutes' walk to get onto the circular path around Rutland Water. The path is 24 miles if you fancy the whole thing. There's a pub in the village on the way to the water.
Rutland Water itself has everything. Sailing, fishing, cycling hire, birdwatching. The nature reserve there runs the Osprey Project. There's a sort of seasonal beach area too. The market towns of Oakham and Uppingham are about three miles away for shops and cafes.
Further out, Stamford is about 20 minutes by car. It's a Georgian town with cobbled streets. Burghley House is near there. Rockingham Castle and Belvoir Castle are both within a 30 minute drive.
For facilities, it's got a dishwasher, wifi, and a TV. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring one dog. There's bicycle storage if you hire bikes.
