Fennel Folly
This is Fennel Folly. It's in Manton, Rutland. That's out on its own, near the water. It's one of four cottages here on the property, set back from the main road in a field. You get your own little garden bit with a patio.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well looked after. It's open plan downstairs, so the living room, dining area and kitchen are all one space.
You can bring one dog. There's parking right outside. It has Wi-Fi and a TV. There's a dishwasher, and the bedding and towels are included. There's a shed if you bring bikes.
You can walk straight from the door onto the path around Rutland Water. It's about a ten-minute walk to get to the water's edge. The village pub is on that same walk. It's a proper local.
For things to do, Rutland Water is the main draw. You can hire bikes there, or go sailing or fishing. There's a nature reserve too. The market towns of Oakham and Uppingham are about ten minutes' drive. Stamford is a bit further, maybe twenty-five minutes.
