Crioch At Newlands
Crioch At Newlands is at Brewlands Bridge in Perthshire. It's a semi-detached cottage for two. One bedroom, one bathroom.
It's got a 4 Star rating, which is about right. It's modern inside, clean and straightforward. The living area and kitchen are open-plan. Upstairs is the bedroom. The stairs are fine, but mind your head on the ceiling beam at the top.
The main thing outside is the hot tub on the private patio. It's there if you want it. There's a woodburning stove inside for cooler nights.
You're right in Glenisla. It's quiet. There are walks straight from the door along the river and into the woods. For fishing, you've got the Isla and the Ericht nearby.
Blairgowrie is about a 20-minute drive. That's where the bigger shops are. It's a handy base. For a proper day out, the Cairngorms National Park is about 30 minutes north. Good for walking or seeing the scenery. National Trust for Scotland Glen Coe is a bit further, maybe just over an hour, if you fancy a dramatic drive.
Facilities: it's got WiFi, a washing machine, and parking. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a stairgate if needed. One well-behaved dog is welcome.
