The Tractor House
The Tractor House is on our farm in Haswell, County Durham. It's a one-bedroom place, sleeps two. It used to be where we kept the tractor, now it's a cottage. It's got a 4 Star rating.
You've got a decent-sized kitchen with a table, a living room, and a bedroom with a kingsize bed. The bathroom has a shower. It's all on one level, no stairs. There's a patio area outside with a table and chairs, looking over the farm fields.
Being on a farm, you'll hear farm noises. Tractors sometimes, or animals. It's generally quiet though. You'll need a car.
For walks, you can step right out the door onto public footpaths. They go through the fields and into the local villages. The Durham Heritage Coast is about twenty minutes drive. Good for a beach walk.
Durham city is about fifteen, twenty minutes away. The cathedral is the main thing. Beamish Museum is a similar drive, that's the open-air museum. Newcastle is about forty minutes if you want a bigger city.
It's got what you'd expect: WiFi, TV, washing machine, dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking right outside. No pets, sorry.
