Piglet Cottage
Piglet Cottage is a small barn conversion in Wimbish. It’s just for two people. You get the whole place and garden to yourselves.
It’s on a road called Rowney Corner. It’s quiet here. The village has a pub and a shop about a mile away. Saffron Walden is a couple of miles. It’s a nice market town to walk around. A bit further out is Cambridge, which is about twenty minutes by car.
Inside it’s all open plan. One bedroom, one bathroom. It’s comfortable. The bed is a king size. There’s a wood burner. The kitchen’s got everything you’d need, a dishwasher and washing machine included.
The main thing is the garden. There’s a copper bath tub out there under a wooden pagoda. You can light the fire pit next to it. It’s private. There’s parking right outside the gate.
For days out, you’ve got Audley End House nearby, which is English Heritage. Cambridge is an easy drive for the university and punting. Devil's Dyke is also a good spot for a walk. Wandlebury Country Park is closer.
We include all bedding and towels. No pets, sorry.
