Converted Stable No 3 :
This is Converted Stable Number 3. It's part of a small group of cottages on our farm in Great Sampford. We live in the main farmhouse next door.
The conversion was finished in 2019. It's all open plan inside, so the living space, kitchen area and the double bed are in one room. There's a separate bathroom with a good shower. It has a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and new, but it's compact, it's really just for two people.
Outside, there's a private patio with seating. It looks out over the fields. The views are peaceful. You access the cottage off a gravel driveway. There's parking right there.
It's very rural. You can walk straight out into the countryside. The local pub is a friendly spot, about a ten minute walk. Finchingfield is a few miles away, it's a nice village. The old market towns of Saffron Walden and Thaxted are a short drive. Thaxted has a Morris Dancing festival in June.
If you want to go further, Cambridge is about half an hour's drive. Newmarket, for the races, is about 40 minutes.
The cottage has WiFi, a TV, and all bedding and towels are included. There's no washing machine in this one, but we can help out if you need something washed. Sorry, no pets.
