The Hayloft
The Hayloft is in Ashdon, Essex. It's a barn that was converted a few years ago, on the edge of our farm. It looks out over fields.
It sleeps up to ten people. There are five bedrooms and each one has its own bathroom. That's the main thing. It's got a 5 Star rating. It's warm, with underfloor heating, and everything is clean and new.
The main living area is all open plan. There's a kitchen, a big dining table, and sofas by the wood burner. There's a Bluetooth speaker system throughout.
Outside, there's a large patio and an enclosed lawn. There's a barbecue and a hot tub.
Two pubs are about a fifteen minute walk away. Both do food. For shopping, you'd need to drive to Saffron Walden, about four miles. It's a nice old market town. Audley End House and Gardens is nearby, about a ten minute drive. Cambridge is about 35 minutes by car if you fancy a day out there.
If you like walking or cycling, you can go straight from the door onto farm tracks and footpaths. There's coarse fishing available on the farm, a short walk from the barn.
Facilities: Washing machine, dishwasher, TV, WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking on the gravel next to the barn. We can provide a cot and highchair. Sorry, no pets.
