Converted Stable No 1 :
This is the Converted Stable, Number 1. It's one of a pair, near Great Sampford in Essex. We did it up from an old stable a few years ago.
It's for two people. Open plan inside, so the living, kitchen, dining and bed area are all in one room. There's a separate bathroom with a double shower. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and everything is new.
Outside, there's a private patio with a table and chairs. It looks out over the fields. It's very quiet. You access it down a gravel drive. We live on the farm next door, where we also run a B&B.
Facilities are all there: WiFi, TV, parking, bedding and towels. Everything's included.
You can walk straight out from the door. There's a local pub within walking distance. Finchingfield village is close by, which is very pretty.
For days out, Saffron Walden and Thaxted are old market towns nearby. Cambridge is about half an hour's drive. Newmarket for the races is about forty minutes.
