Rose Cottage is in Port Logan. It's a ground floor cottage for two people, one bedroom and one bathroom. It has a 3 Star rating, so it's comfortable and clean but not luxurious.
The cottage is all on one level, which is useful. The garden is enclosed, so it's secure for dogs. You can see fields from there. There's parking right outside.
Port Logan beach is sandy and it's about a ten minute walk down the lane. The village has a pub, the Port Logan Inn. It's a proper local pub, they do food.
If you like gardens, the Logan Botanic Garden is about ten minutes away by car. It's quite something, with all the palm trees. The Galloway Forest Park is about a 40 minute drive, but it's good for a proper day out walking. It's a Dark Sky Park as well.
Stranraer is the nearest town for bigger shops, that's a 20 minute drive. You can get ferries to Ireland from there.
Inside, there's a washing machine, a TV, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs. The kitchen has what you need. The shower is over the bath.
