Mill Street is in Drummore. It's a terraced cottage, fairly old, one of a row. It's right in the village, so you're a couple of minutes' walk from the shore. There's a sand and shingle beach and the view is out over Luce Bay.
The cottage sleeps four. Two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating, so it's comfortable but not high spec. It's got a woodburning stove for cooler evenings.
You can walk to the shops and a pub in about a minute. They're just up the road. The beach is a couple of minutes the other way.
It's a good spot for wildlife. The RSPB reserve at the Mull of Galloway is about a ten minute drive. You get a lot of seabirds there, and you might see porpoises or dolphins from the cliffs. For gardens, Logan Botanic Garden is worth a visit and it's not far.
If you want to go further, Stranraer is about a 25 minute drive for bigger shops. The ferry to Ireland goes from Cairnryan, which is about half an hour away.
For walking, there are coastal paths all around the Rhins. The area is quiet, so you can often have a beach to yourself. For mountain biking, the 7stanes trails are within a 30 minute drive.
Facilities: there's a washing machine, a dishwasher, wifi, and an enclosed garden out the back. You can bring up to two dogs.
