Black Rock Cottage is just outside Culbokie on the Black Isle. It's a detached bungalow, so all one level. That makes it easier if stairs are a problem.
It sleeps five. Three bedrooms, one bathroom with a shower. It's got a 4 Star rating, which feels about right. It's clean, warm, and everything works. The garden is big and enclosed, which is good if you've got kids or a dog. Pets aren't allowed though, sorry.
You can walk to Culbokie village in a few minutes. There's a small shop, a post office, and a pub that does food. It's a quiet place.
Inverness is about a fifteen minute drive south. That's where you'll find the bigger supermarkets and shops. Dingwall is about ten minutes the other way. It's a proper market town.
Because you're on the Black Isle, you're sort of in the middle of things. Cromarty is a lovely old fishing town, about twenty minutes north. The beaches over at Rosemarkie and Fortrose are maybe a twenty-five minute drive. Good for a walk.
If you want to go further, you're well placed for the North Coast 500 route. In less than half an hour you can be heading north towards Ullapool or east towards places like Dornoch.
Everything you need is here: bedding, towels, washing machine, wifi, TV. Parking for two cars right outside.
