This is Beachcomber Apartment in Girvan. It's a ground floor flat for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom. You can bring one dog.
It gets the 4 Star rating, so it's in good order and has everything you'd need. The living room is bright and looks out the front. The kitchen has a proper oven, fridge, and washer. The bedroom has a double bed and some storage, though it's just a clothes rail and a chest of drawers, so pack light. The shower works well.
The main thing is the location. You're a five minute walk from the seafront. There's a sandy beach and a decent promenade for a stroll. The view from there is across to the Isle of Arran and Ailsa Craig, that big rock out in the water.
A couple of pubs and places to eat are within walking distance. Girvan itself is a proper working town with a harbour. You can get boat trips from there out to Ailsa Craig in the summer to see the birds.
If you drive, you've got plenty to do nearby. Culzean Castle is about twenty minutes up the coast. It's a National Trust property with great gardens and cliff walks. Culzean Castle. Ayr is half an hour away for bigger shops or the racecourse. The famous golf at Turnberry is a fifteen minute drive south.
Facilities are all included: electricity, bedding, towels, TV, and that washing machine. There's parking for one car right outside.
