Kilpatrick Farm House Pinmore

Kilpatrick Farm House is on our farm in Pinmore. It's a working farm, so you'll see sheep and tractors. The house is detached and you get the garden to yourselves. It looks south over our fields.

It sleeps seven in four bedrooms. There are two bathrooms, one on the ground floor. It's got a 3 Star rating. It's a proper farmhouse: big, clean, and comfortable, not fancy. The WiFi works fine.

You can walk straight from the door onto farm tracks and quiet country roads. We can point you towards a good loop. The closest shop and pub are about six miles away in Pinwherry.

Girvan is six miles east for your main shops. The beach there is sandy. Turnberry and its golf course are about a twenty minute drive up the coast. If you fish, there's salmon and trout fishing available nearby for a cost. We can sometimes arrange private fishing if you ask ahead.

If you want a day out, head south into Galloway. Newton Stewart is good for exploring the Solway coast. Wigtown is Scotland's book town, full of bookshops and cafes. That's about a forty minute drive.

For facilities: it's got a woodburning stove, a dishwasher, a washing machine, and a BBQ. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. Bedding is included. You can bring up to two dogs. Parking is right outside.
