Cairn-O-Mhor

Cairn-O-Mhor is in Lendalfoot, right on the South Ayrshire coast. It's a detached bungalow. The house is on a bit of a rise, so the garden is enclosed and the views are good. You can see Ailsa Craig, Arran, and the Irish Sea from the front rooms.

It sleeps eight. Four bedrooms, three bathrooms. It's a 4 Star place. It was upgraded a couple of years ago so it's comfortable. Everything is on one level except for a couple of steps into the sun room.

The living room, sun room and kitchen all face the sea. The view is the main thing. You might see dolphins. The sunrises are good.

The beach is about four minutes walk down the lane. The Ayrshire Coastal Path runs right past the bottom of the drive if you're walking. You'll see plenty of birds. The property boundaries touch farmland with livestock, so we don't allow pets, sorry.

Girvan is a short drive north. They run boat trips from the harbour out to Ailsa Craig, which is a bird sanctuary. For a day out, Culzean Castle is about twenty minutes away. The country park there is big. Arran and the Isle of Cumbrae are a ferry ride from Ardrossan or Largs, which are both within half an hour's drive.

Inland there's golf and horse riding. The Galloway Dark Sky Park is about twenty minutes south if you're into stargazing.

For facilities: there's a washing machine, dishwasher, cot and highchair. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking for a couple of cars. The nearest shop and pub are in Girvan, about seven miles away.
