Seal Rocks is in Lendalfoot. It's a detached house. You can see Ailsa Craig and the Isle of Arran right out of the front windows. The sunsets are good.
It sleeps four people. Two bedrooms, both with their own bathrooms. The place is modern inside and has a good level of finish, which is what the 5 Star means. It's open plan downstairs. It's wheelchair friendly at the entrance and has a walk-in shower.
There's an enclosed garden with a patio and a barbecue. Parking is on site. It has a woodburning stove, a dishwasher, a washing machine, and wifi. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs.
The beach is about a three minute walk away. It's shingle. The Ayrshire Coastal Path runs past the end of the road if you want a proper walk.
Girvan is the nearest town, about ten minutes by car. It has shops, a leisure centre with a pool, and a harbour where you can book boat trips out to Ailsa Craig. The train from there goes to Glasgow.
There are ruins all along this coast. Dunure Castle is a favourite, it's dramatic. Culzean Castle is about half an hour's drive. It's a National Trust for Scotland property on the cliffs. The Turnberry golf resort is nearby too.
