This is Ingleside. It's a detached cottage in Ballantrae, right on the Ayrshire coast.
It sleeps seven, in four bedrooms. There are two bathrooms. You can bring up to two dogs. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well-equipped.
The main thing is the position. You walk straight out onto the beach. The view is just the sea and, across the water, the Isle of Arran. The Ayrshire Coastal Path goes past the door if you want to walk from it.
The village has a shop, a pub, and a restaurant, all a few minutes' walk away.
Ten minutes drive south gets you to Girvan. It's a proper seaside town with a harbour and a leisure centre with a pool. From there, you can get boat trips out to Ailsa Craig to see the birds.
About twenty minutes north is Culzean Castle. The castle is spectacular and the country park around it is massive, with beaches and woods to walk in.
If you want to go further, you can get a ferry to the Isle of Arran from Ardrossan, which is less than half an hour's drive. Glasgow is about an hour and a half away by car.
The cottage has a closed-in garden, which is useful with dogs. There's parking on site. Inside, there's a washing machine and a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. We provide a cot and a highchair if you need them.
