Ingleside
It's called Ingleside. It's in Ballantrae, right on the coast.
It's a detached cottage that sleeps seven. There are four bedrooms and two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating.
The good thing is it's basically on the beach. You can just walk out your door and be on it. You'll see the sea from the house. The Ayrshire Coastal Path runs right past, which is handy if you're a walker.
The village is quiet. There's a shop and a pub about five minutes walk away. The pub does food.
Inside, it's got what you'd need. A washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV, and parking on site. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if you're bringing kids.
You can take up to two dogs. The garden is enclosed.
If you want to go out, you've got plenty of options. Girvan's about ten minutes drive. They've got a harbour and a swimming pool there. You can get boat trips from there to Ailsa Craig to see the birds.
There's a lot of golf around here if that's your thing. For a day out, Culzean Castle is really something. The estate there is huge for walks. You can also get the ferry to Arran from Ardrossan, which is about a 35 minute drive.
