This is Stinchar View, in Ballantrae. It's a detached cottage, built upside down so the main living area is upstairs. That's to get the best of the view, which is over the sea. You can see it from the living room and from the decking outside those doors.
It sleeps five people. There are two bedrooms and one bathroom downstairs. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's well looked after.
The garden is private. There's a hot tub out there. It also faces the sea. You can sit in it and look at the water. The stairs inside are fine, no major quirks.
You're right in the village. There's a shop and a pub about a hundred yards away. The beach is about the same distance. You can walk straight from the door onto the Ayrshire Coastal Path. It's good for walking.
Girvan is about a fifteen minute drive south. They've got a harbour and a leisure centre with a pool. For a bigger day out, Ayr and Troon are within half an hour. You can get boat trips from Girvan or elsewhere if you're interested in fishing or wildlife.
Further afield, you can get a ferry to Arran from Ardrossan, which is about 45 minutes by car. Glasgow and Edinburgh are both roughly an hour and a half's drive, depending on traffic.
For facilities: it's got parking, a washing machine, a dishwasher, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. It says it's wheelchair accessible at the entrance. Two well-behaved pets are welcome. There's a tennis court in the village and you can hire racquets and balls from me for a tenner if you arrange it beforehand.
