Kitty's Cottage is here in Girvan. It's a two bedroom place, sleeps four. You've got one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, which just means it's comfortable and well looked after.
The big thing is you're really close to the beach. It's about a two minute walk to the sand and the promenade. You can see Ailsa Craig and the Arran mountains from the front.
It's handy for the town. There are shops, a leisure centre with a pool, and a few pubs and places to eat just up the road. The harbour's interesting to wander around, it's still a working boatyard.
Inside, you've got a washing machine, a dishwasher, Wifi, and a TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's a small garden out the back. You can bring up to two dogs.
If you fancied a day out, Ayr is about half an hour's drive north. The Burns Museum in Alloway is worth a visit if you're interested in that. Culzean Castle is on the way, it's a National Trust property with good walks.National Trust for Scotland Culzean Castle.
Heading south, the coast road goes towards Ballantrae and Stranraer. The views over to Kintyre are good on a clear day. If you want proper hills and forests, Galloway Forest Park is about forty minutes east. It's a dark sky park too.
