The Cottage
The Cottage is in Girvan. It's in my garden, but separate. A two minute walk gets you to the sandy beach and the promenade.
It sleeps two. One bedroom, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and well-equipped.
Girvan has shops, cafes, and places to eat. There's a leisure centre with a pool, a harbour with boat trips, and a big play park.
The Ayrshire Coastal Path is right there if you like walking. Turnberry golf resort is five minutes away by car. They have a spa and outdoor activities too.
There are a few castles nearby. Culzean Castle is on the cliffs and worth a visit. Dumfries House is about half an hour's drive, the grounds are nice for a stroll.
The towns of Ayr, Prestwick and Troon are a short drive up the coast. You can get the train to Glasgow from there. Ferries go from Ardrossan to the Isle of Arran, which is a good day out.
In the cottage you've got a TV, WiFi, and all your bedding and towels are included. There's bike storage. It's detached and open plan. No pets.
