The Cottage is in Girvan, just up from the beach. It's a two minute walk to get onto the sand and the promenade.
It's on our grounds but it's separate. The place sleeps two, one bedroom and one bathroom. It's a four star, so it's modern and comfortable. No pets.
The main thing is how close it is to the shore. You can leave the place and be on the beach before you know it. The Ayrshire Coastal Path runs right past it if you're walking. There's a leisure centre, shops, and cafes a few minutes away in the town.
A five minute drive gets you to Turnberry. That's the main golf resort. They've got a spa and a lot of other sports if you're into that.
For a day out, Culzean Castle is a good one. It's about twenty minutes away, up on the cliffs. You can also go to Dumfries House, which is inland a bit more. They've got a massive estate for walking.
There's an 18th green opposite the property, which can be busy in season with players and tournaments, just so you know.
If you wanted to explore more, you can drive up the coast to Ayr or Troon. You can get the ferry to Arran from Ardrossan, which is takes about half an hour to drive there.
The cottage has everything you'd need. WiFi, TV, bedding and towels are all included. There's bike storage if you bring them.
