The Cottage is on our farm in Old Dailly. It’s quiet here. You’re in the countryside, but the coast is close. The house sleeps six, in three bedrooms. There’s one bathroom. It’s got a 4 Star rating, which means it’s comfortable and well equipped.
It’s a farmhouse, so the rooms are a good size. The garden is enclosed, which is handy if you’re bringing dogs. You can bring two. You’ll see us going about the farm work sometimes. The parking is right outside.
You’ve got a woodburning stove for cooler evenings, a dishwasher, and WiFi. All the bedding and towels are included. There’s a cot and a highchair if you need them.
The nearest shop and pub are about three miles away in Dailly village. The pub does meals. For a bigger shop, you’d go to Girvan, which is about three miles the other way. They’ve got a harbour there with fishing and boat trips.
Golf at Turnberry is about ten minutes’ drive. Culzean Castle is a must see, it’s not far at all. You can spend a whole day there walking the grounds. Ayr is about eighteen miles away for shops and restaurants.
You can be on a beach or walking coastal paths very quickly. The views across to the Isle of Arran are really something on a clear day. For walks inland, there’s the Galloway Forest Park about a forty minute drive. Glasgow and Prestwick Airport are roughly twenty-four miles if you’re meeting people or flying in.
