This place is called Anchorage. It's a semi-detached bungalow in Maidens, on the coast in Ayrshire. The beach is a five minute walk away. It's sandy and good for kids.
It sleeps four. There are three bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating, so it's clean and comfortable but not new or luxury. Everything works. There's a shower over the bath with grab rails fitted. It's all on one level, so no stairs to worry about.
The garden is enclosed and private. There's a patio area with a table and a BBQ. You can park right outside.
Inside, there's a washing machine and a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. We've got a cot and a highchair if you need them. WiFi works fine.
Two well-behaved dogs are welcome. The garden is secure.
There's a restaurant about five minutes' walk away. The local pub is a couple of miles, so you'd probably drive. The nearest shop is half a mile.
For things to do, you're in a good spot. The beach is the main thing. Culzean Castle and Country Park is a short drive away. It's National Trust for Scotland, with great walks and gardens right on the coast. Culzean Castle.
Ayr is about a twenty minute drive north. It's a proper seaside town with everything you'd expect. If you fancy a day trip, you can get a ferry to Belfast from Cairnryan, which is just over an hour's drive. There are golf courses everywhere, if that's your thing.
For wider planning, the Visit Scotland Ayrshire & Arran site has good information.
