Pinclanty Cottage Pinmore

Pinclanty Cottage is in Pinmore, South Ayrshire. It's a detached house, so no neighbours on the other side of the wall. The garden's yours, and it looks out over the river and fields. There's a little patio at the front to sit out on.

It sleeps six. Three bedrooms and two bathrooms, which is handy. There's a bedroom downstairs, and the main bathroom is on that floor too. Upstairs has the other two bedrooms and the second bathroom. We've got a 4 Star rating. It means it's well-equipped and comfortable.

You can walk straight from the door. The Galloway Forest Park is about fifteen minutes' drive away. It's huge, good for walking and spotting deer. At night, it's a Dark Sky Park, so if it's clear you can see the stars properly. Galloway Forest Park.

The coast is about five miles. For a bigger town, Girvan is twenty minutes away. It's got shops, a leisure centre with a pool, and you can get boat trips from the harbour to Ailsa Craig. Turnberry, with its castle ruins and golf course, is along the coast.

Historical places are nearby if that's your thing. Culzean Castle is on the cliffs, about half an hour by car. It's National Trust for Scotland. Culzean Castle. Dumfries House is about the same drive the other way, near Cumnock.

For facilities: there's a woodburning stove, a washing machine in the utility room, and a boot room for wet coats and dogs. We allow up to two pets. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking. There's a BBQ and a cot and highchair if you need them.
