Sheep Meadow

Sheep Meadow is in Wetley Rocks, just outside Consall village. It's a bungalow, so everything's on one level. You're up on a hillside, so the views are good. There are fields and sheep, as you'd expect from the name.

The place sleeps four, five if you use the child's bed in the smaller room. Three bedrooms, one bathroom. The bathroom is big and has both a bath and a separate walk-in shower. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well-fitted. There's underfloor heating.

The main room is open-plan, kitchen, dining and living area. Big bi-fold doors open onto the patio. There's a wood burner. The hot tub is on the patio, private, looking out over the view.

For facilities: it's got a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair. On-site parking for two cars. No pets, sorry.

The local pub is about a ten-minute walk. It serves food.

You're on the edge of the Staffordshire Moorlands. For walking, The Roaches and Tittesworth Reservoir are close. For a day out, Alton Towers is about 20 minutes by car. The market town of Leek is a short drive. The Churnet Valley Railway is nearby, as is the Peak Wildlife Park. The historic Potteries are within half an hour.
