Tancred Cottage is in Whixley, which is a small village in North Yorkshire. It's a detached place, so it's just you and the garden.
It sleeps six. There are three bedrooms upstairs, two with a double bed and one with two singles. Two bathrooms, one downstairs with a walk-in shower and one upstairs with a bath. It's a 4 Star place, which means it's comfortable and well-kept. The beds are good.
The kitchen has a table in it. The living room has a wood burner and a TV. Outside there's a patio with a pizza oven and a barbecue.
Whixley itself is quiet. There's a village pub. The nearest train station is about a twenty minute walk away, on the line between York and Harrogate.
York is about a twenty minute drive. You can see the Minster, walk the walls, or go to the National Railway Museum. For a walk, the Howardian Hills are close by. The Nidderdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty is about half an hour's drive. The coast, like Scarborough or Whitby, is roughly an hour away.
In terms of what's there: there's a washing machine, a dishwasher, WiFi, and parking. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. It says there's an electric vehicle charger. You can bring up to two dogs.
