The living area is open plan, with a kitchen at one end. It's got a Smart TV, wifi, and a washing machine. There's a dishwasher too. The garden is a patio area with a table and chairs.
The village is quiet. There's a pub in Green Hammerton, which is about a mile away. Kirk Hammerton has a train station with direct lines to York, Harrogate, and Leeds. It takes about 15 minutes to get into York.
York is the big one for a day out, with the Minster and the railway museum. Harrogate is good for the Turkish Baths and Bettys. You're about half an hour from the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park if you want proper walking. Knaresborough is closer, maybe 20 minutes by car, for a look around the riverside and the castle ruins.
For local history, Beningbrough Hall is a National Trust property nearby. Castle Howard is about a 40-minute drive.
Facilities are all included: bedding, towels, electricity. There's parking. We can provide a cot and a highchair if you need them.
