Blossom Cottage is in Goldsborough, near Knaresborough. It's a one-bedroom cottage for two people. It's attached to the back of our house, which is where we live. You have your own front door and a completely private walled courtyard with gravel and some pots. It's quiet.
It's got a 4 Star rating. That means it's well-equipped and comfortable. Everything is on one floor. The main room is open plan with the kitchen and sitting area together. There's a washing machine. The shower is in the bathroom, which is just off the bedroom. All bedding and towels are included.
The local pub is about three minutes' walk. It's decent. Goldsborough Hall, up the road, does afternoon teas and meals if you want something a bit special.
For getting around, York is about eight miles. The Park and Ride is the easiest way to go if you're driving in. Knaresborough is even closer, just down the hill. Harrogate is about five miles away. It's good for shopping and Betty's Tea Rooms, if you can get a table.
There are plenty of big days out nearby. The National Trust places are really good. Beningbrough Hall is one way, and Fountains Abbey is the other direction. Both are about half an hour by car.
On site parking is right outside your door.
