The Barn is in Spofforth, North Yorkshire. It's a one-bedroom place, sleeps two. It's a converted barn from the 1800s, so there are stone floors and wooden beams. It's in our garden, so you'll see us coming and going, but you've got your own space.
It's got a four-star rating. That means it's comfortable and well-equipped. The kitchen has what you need. The living area has a sofa, a dining table and a Smart TV. Upstairs is the bedroom with a super king-size bed and an en-suite shower room. The stairs are the original ones, so they're a bit steeper and narrower than modern stairs.
Outside, there's a little seating area at the side for you to use. We've got a dog, a rabbit, and some chickens onsite.
Spofforth is a quiet village. There's a pub that does good food, and Spofforth Castle ruins are just along the road for a walk. Harrogate is about ten minutes drive. That's where Betty's is, along with all the shops. Wetherby is about the same distance the other way.
You can be in the Yorkshire Dales National Park in under an hour. Knaresborough is close, York is about 40 minutes, and Leeds is about half an hour if you want a city day.
Everything is included: bedding, towels, electricity, WiFi. There's parking right outside. It has a washing machine, dishwasher, a cot and a highchair if you need them.
