Dove Cottage
Dove Cottage is in Knaresborough. It's a small, one-bedroom terrace cottage for two people. We finished renovating it in 2022, so everything inside is new and works properly.
You walk straight into the living room and kitchen area. It's all open plan. The kitchen has everything you need if you want to cook. The sofa faces the TV. The stairs go up to the bedroom, which has a kingsize bed. The bathroom is up there too, it's an en-suite with a walk-in shower.
It's got a 4 Star rating. That means it's well-equipped and comfortable. Bedding and towels are included. There's a washing machine and WiFi. You can bring one dog.
The cottage is right in the middle of town. There's a market on Wednesdays. You're a few minutes' walk from the river. You can hire a rowboat there, which is a nice way to spend an afternoon. The castle is up on the cliff. Mother Shipton's Cave is the famous local attraction, it's just along the riverside path.
Harrogate is about a 20-minute drive away if you want more shops or restaurants. The Yorkshire Dales are on the doorstep for walking. The National Trust has a few properties within a half hour drive, like Brimham Rocks.
