Dove Cottage
Dove Cottage is in Knaresborough. It's a small one bedroom cottage for a couple. We renovated it in 2022, so it's all fresh and clean inside.
You come in to an open plan room with the kitchen and living space. It has a sofa and a smart TV. The kitchen has what you need. The stairs up to the bedroom are steep. That's just how it is. The bedroom has a kingsize bed. The bathroom is an en-suite with a walk-in shower.
It's on a road into town, so you can walk everywhere. The river and the castle are a few minutes down the hill. There's a market on Wednesdays. You can hire a rowing boat. Knaresborough Castle is run by English Heritage.
Harrogate is about a 20 minute drive if you want more shops and restaurants. The Yorkshire Dales National Park is on the doorstep for walks.
Facilities wise: all bedding and towels are included. There's a washing machine, WiFi, and parking for one car on the street outside. One well-behaved dog is welcome.
