Brimham Retreat Knaresborough

Brimham Retreat is a static home on the Lido Leisure Park in Knaresborough. It's a holiday park, so you've got neighbours, but you get your own patio area with seating out the front.

It sleeps four. Two bedrooms: one with a kingsize bed, one with twins. One bathroom with a shower cubicle. It's a 4 Star place, which means it's been checked and it's comfortable. It's open plan inside, so the kitchen, living area and dining table are all in one room. It's fairly spacious for a static home.

Being on the park, you're right by the clubhouse. They do food and have Sky Sports. There's also a café with a balcony overlooking the river. It's about a ten minute walk into the middle of Knaresborough itself. The town has a market on Wednesdays.

Knaresborough's got the usual things: the castle, riverside walks, and you can hire boats. Mother Shipton's Cave and the Petrifying Well are here too if that's your sort of thing.

Harrogate is about twenty minutes away by car. It's good for shops and restaurants. Betty's is there if you want a fancy afternoon tea.

You're on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales. It's about a thirty minute drive to get right into the middle of it for walking. The nearest bit of the Yorkshire Dales National Park is around Pateley Bridge.

For facilities, most things are included. There's WiFi, a TV, parking on site. Bedding and towels are provided. You can bring one well-behaved dog. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them.
