The Glebe is in Burton Pedwardine, just off the A17 and about halfway between Sleaford and Bourne. It's a big old place, detached. It sleeps twelve with five bedrooms and three bathrooms. It's got a 5 Star rating because it's been done up well.
The main thing is the space. The garden is large and fully enclosed, which is good for kids or dogs. There's a hot tub on the patio. There's a dedicated outdoor kennel for dogs, with heating, which is useful if you've brought two.
Inside, it's set up for a group. Big kitchen, big table. There's a TV, WiFi, all the normal stuff. There's a washing machine and a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot if you need it.
Parking is easy. There's a big gravelled area off the lane. There's also an electric vehicle charger.
The stairs are a bit steep, it's that sort of house. The ceiling in the main living room is low in one corner, mind your head.
Burton Pedwardine itself is quiet. There's a village shop a short walk away. For a proper shop, Sleaford is about ten minutes by car.
For a day out, Lincoln is about half an hour's drive. The Cathedral and the Castle are worth seeing. The Bishop's Palace is there too. You can walk along the Brayford waterfront.
The coast is about an hour away. If you head east, you've got places like Skegness. To the south, Rutland Water is just over half an hour. Good for cycling and walking. Belton House is near Grantham, also about half an hour.
Locally, you can go fishing or horse riding. There's a vineyard on the edge of the village, Mayfield, where you can book a tasting. You can also arrange for a bottle to be here when you arrive.
