The Den

The Den is on its own, down a farm track outside Heckington. It’s a converted shed block, so it's detached and private. The garden is enclosed with a patio area and a BBQ. You look out over fields.

It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom with a shower. It’s got a 3 Star rating. It’s clean and comfortable, but it’s not fancy. The stairs inside are the original ones from the shed. They’re steep, narrow, and a bit open. Just so you know.

You’re about a mile and a half from the village. There's a shop and a couple of pubs there. The Eight Sail Windmill is the big thing in Heckington. It has a cafe and does tours sometimes.

For a day out, Tattershall Castle and Belton House are close. Sleaford is the nearest proper town for shops. Lincoln is about half an hour’s drive. The cathedral is worth seeing. You can park at the Brayford and walk up.

The area is flat. Good for cycling. There's a golf course five miles away.

For facilities: there’s a washing machine, parking right outside, and bedding and towels are included. You can bring one dog. We’ve got a cot and a highchair if you need them.
