The Sanctuary Burton Pedwardine

The Sanctuary is a barn conversion in Burton Pedwardine, a small hamlet near Sleaford. It's on our sheep sanctuary, so you'll see sheep from the garden. The building materials are mostly reclaimed from old farm buildings nearby.

It sleeps six in three bedrooms. There are two bathrooms, one upstairs and one down. One bedroom is on the ground floor. Two of the bedrooms have king-size beds, and the third has a super king that can be split into two singles if needed. That one's the largest room and has a little sitting area. The upstairs bedrooms have air conditioning. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and well-equipped.

You come in straight into the main living area. It's an open-plan space with the kitchen, a dining table, and a sitting area with a wood burner. There's a TV. The bi-fold doors open onto a private, enclosed patio and garden. The views from there are over the fields.

It's a very quiet spot. There's no pub in the hamlet itself. The nearest village is Heckington, about two miles away. They've got a few pubs, a Co-op, some takeaways, and a station. The train can get you to the east coast beaches. Sleaford is six miles away for more shops and cafes.

For local walks and cycling, you can go straight from the door. The Lincolnshire Cycle Trail runs through the area. The Lincolnshire Wolds are about a half hour drive for more serious trails. Woodhall Spa, about thirty minutes away, has golf courses. Historical towns like Lincoln, Grantham, and Newark are within a forty-minute drive.

Facilities include the wood burner, WiFi, a washing machine, dishwasher, and parking on site. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and a highchair. We accept up to two well-behaved dogs.
