The Sanctuary is our barn conversion in Burton Pedwardine. It’s a renovated agricultural building on our small sheep sanctuary. So you'll be surrounded by fields of sheep and chickens.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. One bedroom is downstairs and has a kingsize bed. Upstairs, the two bedrooms are both big. The main bedroom has a super kingsize bed that can be made into twins if you prefer, a seating area and its own TV. The other upstairs bedroom has an en-suite and air conditioning. It’s a 4 Star rating, so it’s comfortable and well looked after.
The main room downstairs is open plan. It’s a big space with high ceilings, so it feels light. There’s a wood burner for cooler evenings, a dining table for six, and a kitchen that has what you need. The bi-fold doors open onto a private, enclosed patio and garden. You get views over our fields.
Burton Pedwardine is a small hamlet. The history here is interesting. The property is built on part of the old village green. Within a 30 minute drive you can get to Sleaford for shops and The Hub, which is an arts centre. Heckington is two miles away. It has a train station, pubs, and a Co-op. Woodhall Spa, which is a classic golfing town, is about half an hour's drive.
You’re well placed for exploring. Lincoln with its cathedral and castle, Grantham, and Newark are all within a 40-minute drive. The Lincolnshire Wolds are good for walking and cycling. The village is on a national cycle trail.
Facilities: There’s on-site parking, wifi, a dishwasher, a washing machine, a BBQ, and bike storage. We provide all bedding and towels. Yes, you can bring pets, up to two are fine. The property is classed as luxury and can be decorated for Christmas if you book it then.
