Abbott's Farm is a detached farmhouse in Horbling village. It's on a quiet, non-working farm. The place sleeps eighteen, so it's for big groups. There are eight bedrooms and five bathrooms.
The kitchen is a traditional farmhouse style. The dining room has nice cornices on the ceiling. There are two sitting rooms, one with a log burner. There's also a library and a lot of DVDs. There's a games room too.
Outside is a big garden. It's got a lawn, a patio with a barbecue, and fruit trees. You can pick the fruit when it's in season. The swimming pool is outdoors and private. There's also a hot tub.
The stairs inside are cottage stairs, so some are steep and narrow. Just something to be aware of.
The house is in a conservation area. We ask that music and noise are kept down after 11pm.
The village pub is a few minutes walk away. There's a shop and a better pub for food in Billingborough, about half a mile.
The Fens are flat and good for walking or cycling. The sunsets out here can be huge. Stamford, Oakham and Uppingham are old stone towns nearby. Sleaford and Spalding are close for shops. Big historical places like Burghley House and Belton House are within half an hour.
You can bring up to four dogs. All bedding and towels are included. There's parking on site, a washing machine, dishwasher, and Wi-Fi.
