This place is called Seventh Heaven. It's in Great Thirkleby, a small village near Thirsk in North Yorkshire. It's a semi-detached house with a garden and a deck that looks out over the river. You get a good view from there.
It sleeps four people. Two bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with two singles. There's a family bathroom with a shower over the bath and a separate toilet downstairs. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and well looked after.
The stairs are a bit steep. It's just the way the house is built.
You can bring two dogs. There's a proper garden for them, but you'd need to keep an eye as it's not completely enclosed all the way around.
It has most things you'd need: a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. There's parking for one car on the drive and an electric vehicle charger.
Thirkleby is quiet. There's a footpath by the river for walks. Thirsk is about ten minutes away by car. That's where you'll find supermarkets, shops, and a few pubs and restaurants. The James Herriot museum is there if that's of interest.
You're well placed for getting out. The North York Moors are about half an hour's drive to the east. Places like Helmsley and Sutton Bank have good walks. To the west, you can get to the Yorkshire Dales in under forty minutes. North York Moors National Park and Yorkshire Dales National Park sites have walking routes and things to do. York is about forty minutes south if you want a city day.
For fishing, you'd need to get a day ticket from the local angling club. The information for that is in the house.
