Dairy Cottage
It's Dairy Cottage, on our farm in Alderbury. It's a one-bedroom place, just for two people. The rating is 4 Star, which is good. It means it's comfortable and well looked after.
The main room is all open plan. There's a kitchen area, a sofa, and a table. The bedroom is through an archway, so it's not a separate door. It's got an en-suite shower room.
You've got your own little patio out the front with a table and chairs. It looks over the farmyard. We're a working farm, so you'll see us coming and going with the tractors sometimes. It's generally quiet though.
The village pub is about five minutes walk down the lane. They do food. The shop is in the next village, about three and a half miles drive.
Salisbury is ten, fifteen minutes in the car. The Cathedral is the main thing, obviously. The Stonehenge site is about twenty minutes drive the other way. You need to book for that.
If you like walking, the New Forest isn't far. Maybe half an hour. And the coast at Bournemouth is about forty minutes.
In the cottage, there's a washing machine, a dishwasher, and the WiFi works. All the bedding and towels are included. There's parking right outside. No pets, sorry, because of the farm animals.
