The Hut at Hole Farm is in Alderbury, Wiltshire. It's a shepherd's hut for two people. A proper one, solid, on a farm.
You get the whole hut and an enclosed garden to yourselves. The bed is very comfortable. There's a big window at the end so you can lie there and look straight out at the fields. Nothing in the way.
It's got a small kitchen with a breakfast bar, and a proper bathroom with a shower. That's unusual for a hut. There's underfloor heating and a log burner for winter, and the hot tub is in the garden. We'll get the hot tub heated up for your first night if you ask beforehand.
The garden has a BBQ and a table and chairs. It's enclosed, so it's fine for one dog. Bring your own dog bed, please.
It's a 4 Star place. That means it's comfortable and well-equipped. The stairs into the hut are the steps up to the door. They're fine, just mind your head on the way in.
The farm is quiet. There's a local pub about a mile away that does food.
Salisbury is about ten minutes by car. You can see the cathedral, walk along the river, and there are shops and restaurants. Stonehenge is maybe twenty minutes drive. Avebury is a bit further, about half an hour. Both are managed by English Heritage. For wider planning, Visit Wiltshire has good information.
Facilities are all there: WiFi, TV, bedding and towels are included, and there's parking right by the hut.
