This is the shepherds hut in Alderbury. It's one hut on its own, down a track, facing out over the fields. You can see the spire of Salisbury Cathedral in the distance. It sleeps two.
It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's well equipped and comfortable inside. Everything is on one level and the doorway is wide, which is good for wheelchair access. There's a wood burning stove for heat and a hot tub outside.
The village pub is a few minutes' walk away. It serves food. For a shop or other restaurants, you need to drive into Salisbury, which is about ten or fifteen minutes.
Salisbury is the main thing here. The cathedral is obviously famous. The city centre has the usual shops and places to eat. Stonehenge is about a twenty minute drive. The National Trust looks after a lot of the land around it. You can also drive out into the New Forest in under half an hour.
On the facilities: there's parking right next to the hut, bedding and towels are provided, and you can bring one dog. There's a barbecue outside. If you want a welcome hamper with local food, you need to ask me about that separately after you've booked.
