The Old Stables 1 is out near West Winterslow. It's a converted barn, one of four on the same site, but it's detached. You get your own garden. It's quiet and looks out over fields.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's well-equipped and comfortable. It's mainly on one level, which is handy. There's one bedroom upstairs under the eaves, with a vaulted ceiling and oak beams. The stairs up to it are fine.
The kitchen and living area are open plan, with stone floors. There's underfloor heating, which is good. The kitchen has a dishwasher and a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot if you need it. Parking is right outside.
You can bring up to two dogs. The garden is enclosed, but you'd want to check the fencing is secure for your own dog.
The local pub is about two miles away in the village. They do food. The nearest shop is about a mile.
For walks, you're right on the edge of the Bourne Valley woods. Bentley Wood is close by, it's known for bluebells in spring. Blackmoor Copse is nearby too.
Salisbury is about fifteen minutes' drive. You've got the cathedral and the market. Stonehenge is about twenty minutes away. If you want to go to the coast, Bournemouth is roughly forty minutes. The New Forest is about half an hour's drive for cycling or walking.
If you're coming with a bigger group, you can book this place together with the other barns next door.
