Spire View Hut
Spire View Hut is a shepherd's hut in Alderbury, on the edge of Salisbury. It's detached and sits in its own bit of garden. The view over the fields to Salisbury Cathedral is the main thing. You can see the spire.
It sleeps two people. One bedroom, one shower room. It's got a 4 Star rating. The whole place is on one level. There's a woodburner for cold nights and a private hot tub outside. The kitchen is small, but it has what you need.
The local pub is a few hundred yards up the road. It's a proper village pub. For a bigger shop, you need to drive about ten minutes.
Salisbury is a ten minute drive. The cathedral is worth seeing. You can walk around the city and along the river. Thruxton race circuit is about fifteen minutes away if that's your sort of thing.
The New Forest is about half an hour's drive south. Stonehenge is about twenty minutes north. You can see it from the road, but you need to book to get up close.
Facilities: There's parking right by the hut. Bedding and towels are included. One well-behaved dog is welcome. It's wheelchairaccessible at the entrance.
