Valley View Cottage Alderbury

Valley View Cottage is on our farm in Alderbury. It's a one bedroom place, just for two people. No pets, sorry.

The main thing is the view. The whole living space looks out over the valley through big doors. You can see it from the bed, the sofa, the table. It's just there.

It's open plan, so everything is in one room apart from the bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and clean. There's a patio with a private hot tub outside those doors.

You should know the phone signal is patchy out here. It's a working farm, so you might hear tractors or animals sometimes. The stairs up to the sleeping area are more like a ladder, really. Just so you're aware.

The village pub is about a five minute walk. It's a proper local. The nearest shop is a few miles away in Whiteparish.

Salisbury is about a fifteen minute drive. The cathedral is the main thing, but the city centre is good for wandering. Stonehenge is maybe twenty minutes by car. The New Forest is roughly half an hour if you want to see the ponies.

Facilities wise: there's a washing machine, dishwasher, bedding and towels are included, and you can park right outside. If you want a hamper of local food, that's an extra £40. You need to ask us about that after you've booked.
