The Snug is my flat in Lynmouth. It's on the lower ground floor. You get in round the back, which is level, so no steps at the front door. There's a private patio out there with a couple of chairs.
It's for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom. The living room's comfortable, with a Smart TV. The kitchen's fine, you walk through to it. It's got what you need. We give you a parking permit for the week.
Lynmouth is a small village right on the coast, at the bottom of a gorge. The river runs through it. Lynton is up the cliff. You can walk up, or take the cliff railway. It's water powered.
The area is part of Exmoor National Park. The walking is the main thing. You can start right from the door. The Valley of the Rocks is a mile or so west, it's a strange, dramatic landscape. Watersmeet, up the river, is run by the National Trust and is good for a walk. There are miles of footpaths on Exmoor itself.
In the village, there are a couple of pubs by the harbour, some places to eat, and a few shops. The beach is shingle. If you want sand, the big beaches like Woolacombe or Saunton Sands are about a 30-40 minute drive.
For planning, the Exmoor National Park site is useful, and so is the National Trust page for the South West, as they look after a few local spots.
Facilities: there's WiFi, a washing machine, TV. Bedding and towels are included. No pets, sorry.
