Cobblers Cottage is in Lynmouth. It's a small one bedroom place, sleeps two. It's a 4 Star, which means it's comfortable and well looked after.
It's up some shared steps, so you need to be okay with that. The view from the top is good, you can see the river meeting the sea.
The layout is a bit unusual. The bedroom and shower room are downstairs on the lower ground floor. The living room, dining area, and kitchen are all upstairs. There's a wood burner up there which is nice in the evenings. The window seat looks out over that view.
Outside the front door there's a small seating area with a table and chairs. It's not a big garden, but it's a spot to sit outside.
Lynmouth itself is a small village right on the coast at the edge of Exmoor. There are pubs and cafes along the harbour. You can walk up to Lynton on the path, or take the cliff railway. The National Trust's Watersmeet is a short drive away, good for woodland walks.
For walking, you're in the middle of it. The South West Coast Path goes right past. The Valley of the Rocks is a famous spot about a mile west, it's a strange and dramatic place to walk. Inland, Exmoor has all the moorland paths.
The beach in Lynmouth is stony. If you want a long sandy beach for a proper walk, the north Devon ones like Woolacombe or Saunton Sands are about a 45 minute drive.
Facilities are straightforward. It has WiFi, TV, a washing machine, and bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs.
