Cobblers Cottage is in Lynmouth. It's a one-bedroom place, sleeps two. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's detached, so no shared walls.
The location is up some shared steps. The view from the top is good, looking over the river toward the sea. There's a small patio area by the front door with a couple of chairs.
The bedroom and shower room are on the lower ground floor. The stairs inside are fairly steep, just so you know. Upstairs is the living room, dining area, and kitchen. There's a wood burner. The kitchen has what you need, nothing fancy.
Lynmouth is small. The beach is a five minute walk down the hill. There are pubs and places to eat by the harbour. The cliff railway up to Lynton is worth a trip, it's a proper bit of Victorian engineering. Good for a cup of tea with a view at the top.
Walking is the main thing here. You can start right from the door. The National Trust looks after Watersmeet, which is a short drive up the road. The Valley of the Rocks is along the coast, about a mile west. It's unusual, you should see it.
Further out, you've got Exmoor. You might see the ponies or deer. Woolacombe and Saunton Sands are about an hour's drive if you want a big sandy beach for the day.
Facilities: WiFi, TV, wood burner, bedding and towels included. There's parking, but it's not right outside the cottage. You can bring two dogs. There's a pub nearby.
For planning: Exmoor National Park has all the walking routes and information.
