The Loft
The Loft is in Lynton. It's above an art gallery in a Victorian terrace. You get the first floor flat, Burlington, below you. It's a second floor apartment, so there are stairs. They're normal stairs, but it's up there.
It sleeps two. One bedroom, one bathroom. It's a 3 Star place, which means it's clean and has what you need. The living room is a good size. There's a kitchen with a dishwasher and washing machine. You share a small garden with the flat below.
Lynton is a small town on the edge of Exmoor. The Valley of the Rocks is about a mile west. It's a strange, dry valley with feral goats. Worth a look. The cliff railway down to Lynmouth is Victorian and runs on water. Lynmouth has a beach, about a mile away.
For walking, you're in Exmoor National Park. There are paths everywhere. Watersmeet is nearby, run by the National Trust. It's a wooded river gorge with waterfalls.
Within about half an hour's drive you can get to places like Porlock Weir. For bigger beaches like Woolacombe or Saunton Sands, it's more like 45 minutes to an hour.
Facilities are listed. Bedding and towels are included. There's WiFi. No pets.
