Exmoor View

This is Exmoor View, in the hamlet of Cheriton. It's semi-detached, with our house next door. You'll have the whole place to yourselves.

It sleeps six, in three bedrooms. Each bedroom has its own bathroom, which is handy if you're sharing with friends or have teenagers. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and well-equipped.

The living room is a good size, with patio doors that open out. The view from there looks straight over the fields to Exmoor. There's a south-facing patio, so you get the sun. At night, because it's so dark here, you can see a lot of stars.

You can walk straight out of the garden and up onto the moor. The local pub is about a mile away. Lynton and Lynmouth are a short drive. They've got shops, places to eat, and the cliff railway. The Valley of the Rocks walk starts there too.

Within about half an hour you've got a few options. Watersmeet, which is National Trust, has good walking and a tea room. The coast at Croyde and Woolacombe has surfing beaches. On Exmoor itself, Dunkery Beacon is the highest point for a walk, and Tarr Steps is an ancient clapper bridge.

The place has a woodburning stove, WiFi, a TV, and parking. All the bedding and towels are included. There's a washing machine, dishwasher, a cot and a highchair if you need them. We can take one well-behaved dog.
