Country View
Country View is in Ashby Cum Fenby, up on Ashby Hill in Lincolnshire. It's a detached bungalow, one of a few on a quiet lane. The main thing is the view. It looks south over the fields.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's clean and modern. Everything being on the ground floor is handy if you don't fancy stairs.
The living room is compact, with a sofa and chairs. There's a smart TV if you want it. The kitchen's at the back. It has all the standard things: oven, fridge, washing machine. You can see the lake from the kitchen window.
Bedrooms are at either end for privacy. One has a double bed and its own shower room. The other has twin beds. There's a second bathroom with a shower in the middle.
You're right in the Lincolnshire Wolds here. It's good walking country. The village is small. You'd drive to Cleethorpes or Grimsby for a supermarket or a bigger choice of places to eat. Cleethorpes is about twenty minutes by car. Grimsby is about fifteen.
For days out, the coast is close. Cleethorpes has the beach and the pier. The National Trust's Gunby Estate is about half an hour away. Lincoln is further, maybe forty-five minutes, but it's good for the cathedral and the castle if you fancy a proper trip.
Stuff you get: parking right outside, Wi-Fi, all bedding and towels. The electricity is included. No pets, I'm afraid.
